Underground Foreman

Foreman duties will include directing general labor duties related to telecommunications construction as directed by the Supervisor. Candidate must be capable of working with people, motivating and directing work activities to meet goals and deadlines and maintain a safe work environment.   • Train or arrange for training of team members
  • Supervise workers and projects
  • Recommend personnel actions
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and work activity timelines
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
  • Coordinate and schedule work activities
  • Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Travel to work sites



  • Knowledge and understanding of the telecommunication construction. industry standard practices.
  • Drill mud mixing knowledge.
  • Knowledge of HDD Equipment.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ exp. in Telecom-Wireless & structured cabling.
    Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Valid drivers' license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Locating Experience.
  • Class A License Required.
  • Able to work outside year-round.
  • Must be at least 18.

Physical Demands:

  • Walk, bend, kneel, lift, and sit for an extended time.
  • Climb up and down equipment.
  • Push, pull, reach, and carry objects such as tools, materials and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Coordinate movement of eyes, hands, fingers, and feet.
  • Subject to inclement weather conditions when working outdoors.
